We were challenged by the Historical Route of the Linhas de Torres Association to create tactile models of the forts located in the Western Zone. In this modeling, the aim was to recover the initial presentation of each of the Forts.
We developed the different models based on space photos, illustrations, and visits to each of the six locations. The project was carried out with the support of a series of meetings with the technical team of the Historic Route.
During the modeling process, special attention was paid to eliminating sharp edges and elements that, due to their characteristics, could pose a risk to visitors if touched.
After validating the 3D models, we moved on to printing in high-strength PLA.
Meticulous artistic painting work was also carried out.
