Roman Temple of Évora 3D printing

Roman Temple of Évora

We developed three complementary pieces using 3D printing for an accessible exhibition that aims to introduce the Roman Temple:

a. Scale model of the temple in its current state. Model created with the support of a 3D scan survey installed on a drone;

b. Model of the temple at the time it was built. Model created based on existing illustrations and the support of the temple’s current condition;

c. Simplified model with the individual parts, designed for children to use.

The three models were printed in high-strength PLA.

The models of the current state and of the previous era were artistically painted.

This set integrated other materials and ensured the importance that 3D printing has today, as the best solution for making new levels of information accessible to everyone.
