Brain – Wider than the sky

The exhibition presentation read: “The exhibition, suitable for all ages, presents the brain as the most complex structure known to date in the universe, celebrating it in its multiple representations, from science to art and philosophy”.

“This exhibition is a unique journey around the brain: its origins, the complexity of the human mind, the challenges of artificial minds. On exhibit are a 500-million-year-old brain, a modern brain, a giant interactive synapse, fragments of Egyptian papyrus, a painting by artist Bridget Riley, an orchestra of brains, robots… Interactive activities, historical and paleontological documents, paintings, three-dimensional models, and infographics combine to produce an exciting exhibition for all ages.”

For this, we produced a set of pieces, namely the modern brain and the representation of a set of neural filaments. Due to the characteristics of the parts, especially the extremely thin filaments, printing was done in polyamide.
